“Historias de risa sin prisa”
A story for every moment: for a dull moment, a bright story will appear; if it’s a sad one, a cheerful story; and if it’s green, perhaps a yellow one. I have stories for after meals, for chair-time, for floor-time… to wake up the dormouse and lull the owl to sleep. In an instant, a story will enter through your ears, slide down into your soul, and stay there roasting chestnuts. A performance with words, objects, puppets, poems, books, songs, and stories.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
That story will arrive, dressed in yellow,
with a long, rather extravagant tailcoat,
and it will bring a letter written in orange ink that says:
“It’s about time, my dear!” It will spill everywhere. It will start opening doors, pull a cloud out of an upside-down pocket, comb its hair and then mess it up again, take out a hurricane and a tunnel, a slide and a trumpet, gently stroke us—and when we least expect it, it will give us a fright.
